Police have charged a man following a weapons incident in Halifax yesterday.
On August 31 at approximately 4 p.m., police received a report of a weapons incident that occurred in the 5500 block of Cogswell Street in Halifax. It was reported that a man had threatened another man with a firearm. Upon arrival, officers located and arrested the suspect in the area without incident. There were no reported physical injuries. During the investigation, officers located and seized a replica BB handgun.
Brad Mullen, 43, is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court today to face charges of:
- Assault with a weapon
- Careless use of firearm
- Pointing a firearm
- Possess weapon dangerous to public peace
- Carry concealed weapon
- Breach of undertaking
