Work details: This area has been closed out of an abundance of caution to protect public safety, as the culverts have reached the end of their useful life at this location. Municipal staff are prioritizing efforts to progress the replacement of these culverts with a new bridge. This project supports the Moving Better goals outlined in the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan.
Traffic impact: A detour will be in place around this closure via Kipawa Crescent and Chippawa Street. Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes where possible.
Active transportation impact: Access for people walking and rolling will be maintained during this closure.

Description des travaux : Cette zone a été fermée par souci de protection du public, car les ponceaux ont atteint leur fin de vie utile à cet endroit. Le personnel municipal accorde la priorité aux efforts visant à remplacer ces ponceaux par un nouveau pont. Ce projet appuie les objectifs de mobilité améliorée du plan stratégique 2026-2030 (en anglais).
Répercussions sur la circulation : Un parcours de déviation sera en place afin de contourner cette fermeture par Kipawa Crescent et la rue Chippawa. Les conducteurs doivent s’attendre à des ralentissements et sont priés d’emprunter d’autres itinéraires dans la mesure du possible.
Impact sur le transport actif : L’accès pour les personnes qui marchent, font du vélo, de la trottinette, etc. sera maintenu pendant cette fermeture.
