Police investigating robbery GO#19-84014

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred earlier this morning in Halifax.

At approximately 3 a.m., Halifax Regional Police received a call that a 64-year-old man reported being robbed in the 2000 block of Maynard Street, Halifax. The victim reports that two woman and one man threatened him with a crosswalk flag while demanding cash and his cell phone. The suspects obtained cash from the victim and fled southbound on Gottingen Street. The victim was not injured during this incident. The suspects were described to police as two black woman and one black man and believed to be in their mid 20`s.

This matter is in the early stages of the investigation and limited details are available at this time.  Investigators are asking anyone who has information on this incident to call police at 902-490-5020.
