Halifax Water issues electronic bills via epost and paper bills via traditional mail. You must register with epost to receive your Halifax Water bill online.
Residential customers will receive a bill on a quarterly basis. Most industrial, commercial, and institutional customers will receive a monthly bill.

24-hour drop-off payment boxes are located at the following offices (cheques and money orders must be made out to “Halifax Water”):

*The Alderney Gate drop box is not available 24-hours a day. It is only accessible during the following hours:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Tuesday and Thursday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday - Closed
Pay your bill directly from your bank account through Halifax Water’s Pre-authorized Payment Program.
Use a MasterCard or VISA to pay your Halifax Water bill. There will be a service fee of 1.75% per transaction.
When paying in person, please present your full bill at:
450 Cowie Hill Road, Halifax
8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, except holidays
You can also pay in person at Halifax Customer Service Centres.
Payments can be made by online banking or telebanking (check with your financial institution for available options.)
Halifax Water offers payment extensions and payment arrangements for overdue accounts. Please contact Halifax Water Customer Care Centre at 902.420.9287 during regular Customer Care Centre hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m).
