2022 has been officially proclaimed the year of the garden and June 18, 2022 as “Garden Day” as part of the Canadian Garden Council's national celebration. The municipality celebrates the contribution of gardens and gardening in communities throughout the region, which include positive impacts on quality of life, creating safe and healthy spaces for neighbours to come together, and helping us reach our climate action goals.
Join us for two opportunities to explore municipal greenhouses this spring. Gardeners will be available to answer questions while you browse at your own pace. We'll even have a limited quantity of plants to give away!
