Thank you to the residents who participated in the recent community-based planting workshop at Albro Lake
Participants helped improve local water quality, add shade for beach users, enhance the freshwater ecosystem and help prevent erosion through their efforts.
The municipality facilitated the workshop in partnership with Helping Nature Heal Inc’s Shore Up education program.
Participants learned the skills needed to help nature heal and create more resilient landscapes.
