Zzap Consulting Inc. is applying to enter into a Development Agreement to allow a 3-storey commercial building and a 6-storey residential building at 1491 Sackville Drive, Middle Sackville. 

Proposal

The applicant wishes to subdivide the site into two parcels. On one parcel the proposal includes a 3-storey commercial building. The second parcel includes a 6-storey multi-unit residential building. The major aspects of the proposal are as follows:

  • Commercial Building proposed gross floor area is 18,000ft2 (1,672.25m2)
  • 51 surface parking spaces for commercial
  • Residential Building proposed above grade gross floor area is 140,400ft2 (13,034.59m2)
  • 124 residential units
  • 146 residential parking spaces proposed (surface and two levels of underground parking)


The Development Plans (provided below) outline the development proposal in detail, and include information related to proposed building and parking locations and building massing.

Municipal Planning Staff are currently seeking your feedback on this proposal. Your participation is important to us, and we encourage all members of the public to participate.

A public information meeting will be held on Monday, November, 27, 2023, from 7:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. at the Sackville Heights Community Centre, 45 Connolly Rd, Middle Sackville.

The purpose of the meeting is to share information and receive feedback regarding the application. Anyone is welcome to attend and participate in this meeting. Planning staff and the applicant will be present to discuss the proposal and respond to questions from the public. You can also contact the Planner identified below if you have any comments or questions and you are not available to attend the meeting.
