The municipality is seeking applications from catering businesses who meet Social Value Guidelines through ownership or operation for inclusion on a Social Value Catering List. 

This list will be available to municipal staff across every district, who are seeking catering services. We are looking for businesses who are owned, operated by or employing:

  • women
  • African Nova Scotians / African Descent
  • Indigenous Peoples
  • people with disabilities
  • veterans
  • recent immigrants
  • social enterprises

In accordance with Section 485 of the Municipal Government Act (MGA), any personal information collected on this form will only be used by municipal staff and, if necessary, individuals and/or organizations under service contract with the Halifax Regional Municipality for purposes relating to processing the Social Value Catering survey results.
