As a result of a traffic stop at 7:30 p.m. on December 6, a man was arrested and a search warrant was then executed on a residence on Solutions Drive in Halifax. A quantity of marijuana and cash was seized as a result of the search. The 48-year-old man operating the vehicle was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and will be held for court on Monday, December 9. As well, a 38-year-old male passenger in the vehicle was charged with Possession under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and released to attend court on a later date.
