On August 3, at 1 a.m., officers were on Jubilee Road looking for a group of youths throwing pylons on the road. A patrol officer observed a vehicle on fire in the 6400 block of Jubilee Road and contacted Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency. The vehicle was parked in a driveway very close to a house, officers alerted the residents to evacuate the house until the fire was extinguished. The investigation is ongoing and members of the Forensic Identification Section and the Integrated General Investigation Section are investigating. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police.
