14-119198 Dartmouth Beat Officers locate injured man

On August 18, at 9:05 p.m., Dartmouth beat officers working in the Primrose Street area located a 52-year-old man in a parking lot suffering from facial injuries.   The man advised he recently made a purchase at the nearby Lawton’s store and while walking through the parking lot someone questioned him as to what he had in the bag he was carrying. The victim advised he was then immediately struck in the face with something hard. He does not remember anything after that and was unable to provide further details to police. The victim was taken by EHS to the hospital for further medical treatment of non-life threatening injuries.   The investigation is ongoing.
