On January 26, at 6:30 p.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to a car-pedestrian motor vehicle collision in the 200 block of Willett St in Halifax. It appears the pedestrian, a 23-year-old man, had just exited a metro transit bus and was crossing Willett Street when he was struck by a car. He was not in a crosswalk. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle, a 57-year-old man, was not injured. At this time no charges have been laid but the matter is still under investigation
