On September 16, 12:40 a.m., Halifax Regional Police officer conducted a traffic stop on Akerley Boulevard near Highway 118. As a result of this traffic stop a 21-year-old man was arrested and a quantity of marihuana, cocaine and cannabis resin were seized. This man is currently in police custody and will attend Dartmouth Provincial Court this morning to face 3 charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
