14-136403 - Attempted Robbery

On September 18, at 6:25 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to the 0-100 block of Prestwick Close in Halifax for a report of a robbery. The victim had posted an online advertisement selling an article. He spoke to a man who asked to meet with him to see the item. Two men showed up and eventually one produced a knife and the second  indicated he had a firearm. An altercation took place and the suspects fled on foot. The area was checked by a K-9 Unit and patrol members but the suspects could not be located. The file is still under investigation. The suspects are described as

1) SUSPECT #1 black man, 17-18 years old, 5'9"-5'10" in height, thin build, wearing a dark hoodie, and blue jeans.

2) SUSPECT #2 white man, 18-20 years old, 5'10"-5'11" in height, mediu build, wearing a red hoodie, and blue jeans.
