On October 9, shortly after 6 p.m., officers with the HRP Quick Response Unit and General Investigative Section located an individual in the 6500 block of Cork Street in Halifax who was wanted on a warrant. Officers arrested the individual and upon searching him located a loaded, sawed off 12 gauge shotgun under his coat. The individual also had a quantity of drugs on his person. He was taken into custody without incident. A 31-year-old man will be appearing in court later today facing various weapons and drug charges.
