On November 20, at 8:45 p.m. – Members responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. The incident occurred near 178 Victoria Road in Dartmouth. The 30-year-old man that was struck was taken to hospital for examination by EHS with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation revealed that the 45-year-old female driver was travelling southbound on Victoria Road when the pedestrian ran out in front of her vehicle and was struck. The driver did not have a reasonable opportunity to stop and the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk at the time of the collision.

The pedestrian was issued two Summary Offence Tickets for public intoxication and failing to yield to traffic in a roadway outside of a crosswalk.
