14-25798 Street level Robbery

On February 23, at 2:10am a 24-year-old man was approached by another man at the intersection of Main Avenue and Gebhardt Street in Halifax.  The suspect requested to use the victims cell phone then displayed something shiny in his hand which the victim believed to be a possible weapon.  The suspect demanded the contents of the victims pockets.  The suspect fled with a small amount of cash down Gebhardt street.  The victim was not injured during this incident.  The suspect is described as wearing a black scarf that cover his face, unknown ethnicity, early 20’s, 5’10” in height, 150 lbs, wearing a black bomber jacket with fur around the hood.
