On February 23, at 8:25 a.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to a call of a man in the area of Lahey Road and Catherine Street in Dartmouth carrying a firearm. Upon arriving and speaking with witnesses, it was also learned this man pointed the firearm at a woman. A man matching the description given by witnesses was located and arrested a short distance from the incident. A male youth was charged with several weapons related offences. The firearm, a pellet gun, was recovered. No one was injured during the incident.
