On March 9 at 3:50 p.m. officers responded to a car/pedestrian collision in front of the Provincial Court on Spring Garden Road. A 50-year-old woman was crossing Spring Garden Road in a marked crosswalk when she was hit by a vehicle travelling East on Spring Garden Road. She was transported to hospital by EHS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle, a 23-year-old woman, was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
