Halifax Regional Police is asking the public to help locate a driver involved in a hit-and-run that occurred this afternoon in Halifax.
On May 7, at 1:45 p.m., officers responded to a collision between an SUV and a pedestrian at the intersection of Coburg Road and Lemarchant Street. A 28-year-old man crossing Coburg Road in a marked crosswalk was brushed by the side mirror of an SUV turning left from Coburg Road onto Lemarchant Street. He was not injured. The SUV was described as a black BMW X3 and was driven by a white man in his forties.
