On May 11, at 9:10 p.m., officers responded to an injury motor vehicle accident on Highway 102 - Exit 1A (on the ramp) involving a lone vehicle. The 23 year-old male driver was taken to the QEII for medical treatment in serious condition. The highway remained closed for an extended period of time while the accident Investigation team conducted their investigation. The cause of this accident has yet to be determined but it is believed that speed was a factor
