On May 12, at 1:55 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was walking eastbound on the south side of Sackville Street in Halifax and crossed Dresden Row in a marked crosswalk. A black SUV was stopped on Dresden Row at Sackville street facing northbound. The vehicle was a black Acura SUV with a white female driver believed to be in her 40-50`s with blond hair. While in the crosswalk the pedestrian described the driver as becoming impatient and purposely driving her vehicle forward, making contact with her. The SUV then turned left and sped westbound on Sackville Street towards Bell Road. The pedestrian was not injured. Police will continue to investigate this incident and would like to have the driver of the black SUV come forward and contact them.
