On June 22, at 7:37 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to 3377 Romans Avenue in Halifax for a car pedestrian collision. A man was backing his van out of a parking area and struck a pedestrian who was on the sidewalk. The 79-Year-old male pedestrian was transported to hospital by EHS for treatment of minor injuries. The 50-year-old male driver was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for unsafe backing.
