On July 4 at 11:13 a.m., HRP officers responded to three vehicles motor vehicle collision in the 400 block of Parkland Drive in Halifax. The first vehicle driven by a 35-year-old woman with three passengers was travelling southbound on Parkland and struck a legally parked truck on the side of the road. The first vehicle then continued across the center of the road and impacted a second vehicle, driven by a 87-year-old woman, who was travelling Northbound on Parkland. All five individuals were taken to hospital by EHS with non-life threatening injuries. HRP collision investigation and FIS attended to process the accident scene. Matter is still under investigation and no charges have been laid.
