On July 6 at 5:52 p.m., HRP officers responded to a weapons complaint at Herring Cove Road and Greystone Drive. A 54-year-old female victim reported she had been shot while she was at the bus shelter awaiting a metro transit bus. The woman sustained non-life threatening injuries from a pellet gun. A 21-year-old man was taken in to custody and will appear in court at a later date to face charges of assault with a weapon and possession of weapons dangerous. The woman was treated by EHS at the scene.
