On July 15, at 11:05 p.m., HRP officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. The incident occurred at the intersection of Roleika Drive and Caledonia Road in Dartmouth. The driver of the vehicle was travelling northbound on Caledonia Road and made a right hand turn onto Roleika Drive and struck a man who was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk. The 30-year-old male victim suffered a minor injury to his arm. The driver, a 66-year-old Dartmouth man was issued a Summary Offence ticket for Failing to Yield to A Pedestrian in a Crosswalk.
