On January 4, at 7:23 p.m., police responded to a robbery at the Needs Convenience store located at 100 Highfield Park drive in Dartmouth. A man entered the store and threatened the female employee with a knife. He obtained an undiclosed amount of money and cigarettes before leaving the store on foot. The employee was not injured.
The suspect is described as a white man in his thirties, tall and thin, with blue eyes, wearing black jacket, gray hoody, hoody up around face, carrying bag over shoulder held up the female clerk with a knife. He obtained an unknown amount of cash and cigarettes before exiting the store. The area was checked by officers and a K-9 unit with negative results.
