On February 10, at 2:35 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a Break and Enter at Wilson’s Gas Stop located at 225 Ketch Harbour Road. When officers arrived on scene, they found one of the doors had been forced and several items disturbed inside the business. Officers noted footprints in the snow leaving the business . Several other units responded along with two K-9 Units and a large containment area was set up. The K-9 units tracked the suspects for over an hour and 45 minutes through a wooded area towards Herring Cove. The track lead back to the Herring Cove Road area where the two suspects were apprehended hiding in the shed of another business. The two men will be attending court today to face numerous criminal charges including Break and Enter.
