On January 5, at 9:50 p.m.,hrs, Halifax Regional Police responded to a Robbery at Needs Convenience at 6130 Chebucto Road in Halifax. A man entered the business, produced a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes. He received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot on Chebucto Road. The area was checked but the suspect could not be located. The suspect is described as a white man, 6’1, thin build, blue eyes, wearing dark jacket, dark touque, carrying bag over his shoulder. The employee was not injured and the investigation is continuing.
