On February 19, at 9:06 p.m. officers responded to a robbery at the KFC located at 18 Titus Street in Halifax. A man entered the restaurant and indicated he had a weapon and demanded cash. He fled the store after taking the cash register. The suspect is described as approximately 5'5"-5'7" tall, wearing dark clothing, possibly a navy coloured hooded sweatshirt, and pants that were hanging low. His face was completely covered except for his mouth.
The area was checked by a K-9 unit and patrol officers but he could not be located. The investigation is continuing.
