On March 5, at 6:43 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a truck on its side at Pinegrove Drive and Theakston Avenue in Halifax. The truck had been involved in hit and run just moments before on Herring Cove Road and while fleeing hit a snow bank and ended up on its side. By the time police arrived, the operator of the truck had fled on foot. Police later located the owner of the truck and he admitted to driving earlier and being involved in the accidents. There were no injuries in the accidents.
Man charged with Possession Under $5000 (stolen plate) and several MVA violations.
