On January 7, at 10:55 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to an attempted robbery at 94 Highfield Park Drive in Dartmouth (Highfield Video and Variety). A man entered the store, demanded cash from the clerk and displayed a knife. He did not receive anyting and fled the area on foot, on Joseph Young Avenue. The clerk was not injured. The area was searched for the suspect but he was not located.
The suspect is described as a white man, wearing all dark clothes, a scarf pulled up over his nose and a hood pulled down over his eyes. He had dark hair and brown eyes.
This matter remains under investigation and will be followed up by the Integrated General Investigations Section.
