15-7074 - Stabbing

On January 15, at 8:15 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to stabbing call in the 6200 Block of Seaforth Street in Halifax. Police located two injured men, one appeared to have been stabbed and the other was assaulted. Both men were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  HRP is currently seeking a suspect described as a 26-year-old man wearing dark clothing and a beard. He may be associated with a late model grey SUV. Suspect was believed to be armed with a firearm and a knife.

HRP’s K9 unit along with officers from the Integrated General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Section are following up. The matter remains under investigation.
