On May 29, at 1205 a.m., a male suspect entered the Needs Convenience Store located at 6130 Chebucto Road in Halifax. The suspect produced a handgun and demanded cash and cigarrettes from, the clerk. He fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. The clerk was not phycically injured.
The suspect is described as a white man in his early twenties, 5’6”, blond hair, wearing a blue hoodie. No arrests have been made and the investigation by the General Investigation Section is continuing.
