15-818 - Police investigate attempted robbery.

Police are investigating a robbery which occurred earlier tonight in Dartmouth.

On January 2, at 7:39 p.m., police responded to Robins Donut located at 384 Portland Street for a report of a robbery. A man walked into Robins Donuts and demanded cash from the female employee. He  produced a knife and motioned towards the employee’s arm, as if to stab her. He fled without obtaining anything from the business. The employee was not injured. 

The suspect is described as  a white man, 6’0 tall,  skinny, in his mid 20’s, wearing a puffy jacket and a toque which was pulled down over his face and black track pants. 

At this time, officers are in the early stages of the investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020.
