On July 2, at 12:46 a.m., officers responded to a weapons call at the intersection of Rocky Lake and Scotia Drives. Information received indicated that two 15-year-old male victims were sprayed with a sensory irritant by a 17-year-old male youth known to them. The suspect had fled the area but he was apprehended a short distance away. He was held in custody overninght and will appear in Halifax Provincial Youth Court today to face charges of assault with a weapon x2, Breach of a previously imposed court order x4, breach of probation x2 and resist arrest. The victims had their eyes flushed by EHS and returned home.
