On July 3, at 5:05 p.m., officers responded to 2345 Brunswick Street, Hope Cottage, for a weapons related call. Information received indicated that a man had been causing a disturbance inside and staff members were attempting to escort him outside. The suspect produced a knife and stabbed two of the staff, 58-year-old man and a 30-year-old man received minor injuries and both were transported to hospital by EHS with non-life-threatening injuries. A 29-year-old man was taken into custody and will face weapons related charges.
