A man faces charges after a drug search yesterday in Halifax.

At 3:35 p.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit executed a search at an apartment on Vimy Avenue. Officers seized a quantity of hydromorphone, methadone and crack cocaine, as well as drug paraphernalia and cash. A man at the scene was arrested without incident.

Thirty-six-year-old Christopher John Hartley of Halifax is charged with two counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possession of drugs. He was held in custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court today.
