Aggravated assault/robbery GO # 17-40378

This morning at approximately 3:41 A.M. Halifax Regional Police responded to an aggravated assault / robbery at the corner of Barrington Street and George Street . When police arrived they located 25-year-old male victim and a 29-year-old male victim, one of the victims was unconscious, the other conscious  but bleeding from the face. The investigation has revealed the victims were assaulted and robbed by at least four males. There is no indication of a weapon being used. One of the victims was relieved of his wallet during this assault. The suspects are described as black men, 25-28 years old, wearing: 1)    green pants, green vest and black sweater2)    dark green pants and a dark sweater3)    black pants and a dark hooded sweatshirt4)    blue jeans and dark sweater The victims have been released from the hospital but require further medical treatment. There is no further information available at this time. Investigators are asking anyone with information about this incident to call police at 902-490-5020.
