The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will take place from now until the end of October, on Almon Street from Gottingen to Oxford streets.
Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be lane drops and stop-and-go traffic while work is underway.
This project will include traffic signal work at the intersections of Almon/Agricola and Almon/Windsor from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., daily.
Motorists are asked to use an alternative route whenever possible.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is underway.
