Last night at 9:40 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a call of a small fire at the front of a residence in the 0-100 block of Farrell Street in Dartmouth.
It appears that an unknown suspect(s) threw a Molotov cocktail style incendiary device at a residence causing a small fire which was put out quickly by the homeowners. Halifax Fire attended the scene to ensure the fire was out. The residents were home at the time of the incident but no one was injured. While police were canvassing the area a second incendiary device was located burning in an empty lot down the street from the original incident.
At this time the matter is still under investigation.
