At 3:13 a.m., Halifax Regional Police officers responded to a commercial intrusion alarm in the 500-block of Pleasant Street in Dartmouth.
Upon arrival officers found a showroom window had been smashed and a fire had been set inside a business. Officers were able to put out the small fire with an extinguisher and Halifax Fire attended.
The fire was determined to be deliberate and the matter is still under investigation.
