Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 (Halifax, NS) - The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that on Sunday, Oct. 9 and Monday, Oct. 10, a street closure will be in place during the evening and overnight hours on Bayers Road, from Windsor Street to Oxford Street, to accommodate road construction.
The street closure will be in effect each evening from 7 p.m. through until 7 a.m. the next morning. A marked detour will be in place.
In addition, the traffic signals at Bayers Road and Windsor Street will be shut down on Monday, Oct. 10 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning. Traffic control personnel will be in place.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes, whenever possible.
The municipality regrets any inconvenience this road work and associate street closure may cause.
