Friday, Jan. 27, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Bishop Street will be closed next week (Monday, Jan. 30 through to and including Tuesday, Feb. 7) between Barrington and Hollis streets for underground electrical work related to The Alexander construction project.
The street will close at 9 a.m. Monday morning and will re-open Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 5 p.m. It should be noted Bishop Street will remain open to local traffic for accessing shops, services, and residences along Bishop Street.
Detour signage and traffic control personnel will be on site to direct traffic throughout the street closure.
The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience this road work may cause.
