(10:30 a.m.)Two men are facing charges after breaking into two houses in Halifax.
On April 27, at 8:44 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a break and enter on Apollo Court, and shortly after, another break and enter in the 200 block of Main Avenue. Witnesses provided officers with a description of two male suspects seen walking away from both residences. At 9:50 a.m., officers arrested the two suspects with the stolen property on Alex Street.
William Shawn Berrigan, 40, and Shawn Sinclair McOnie, 37, both of Halifax, were held in custody over the weekend and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court later today. They are each facing two counts of break and enter, two counts of possession of stolen goods and two counts of breach of probation.
