At approximately 11:40 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a break and enter in the 0-100 block of Emma Ct, in Dartmouth. HRP were advised that 3 masked men were inside the residence and one was armed with a crow bar and one of the suspects had demanded money from one of the residents. Upon HRP arrival it was learned that the 3 men had fled the home after being chased by one of the residents. Police confirmed that a door to the residence had been forced open by the suspects, however, it is believed that the suspects did not obtain any property from the residence. There were no injuries.
Members of Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating. The suspects are described as two men in black clothing, one wearing a full face mask and a third suspect wearing dark pants and a grey hooded sweater.
