Break and Enter/Stolen Motor Vehicle

Police are investigating a break and enter into a business in Halifax that occurred early this morning.

At 1:45 a.m., officers responded to an alarm at the Needs convenience store located at 185 Chain Lake Drive. Officers determined that the business was broken into and that a motor vehicle was used to gain entry. An undisclosed amount of merchandise was taken. Officers located the abandoned vehicle on Bently Drive and later learned that it was stolen earlier in the evening.  At this time, there is no description of the suspects.

Officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are in the early stages of the investigation.
