This morning at 1:10 a.m., officers responded to a report of a pedestrian that had been hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Victoria Road and Albro Lake Road in Dartmouth.
The pedestrian, a 54-year-old man, was crossing Victoria Road when he was struck by a car travelling south bound driven by a 20-year-old woman. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Officers from the Halifax Regional Accident Investigation Unit were called to the scene and the matter remains under investigation at this time.
