Car/Pedestrian collision GO #14-102001

On July 19, Halifax Regional Police were called to investigate a car/

pedestrian collision that had occurred in Dartmouth.  

The woman was attempting to cross the intersection at Primrose Street at Victoria Road in Dartmouth at 11:40 a.m. against a red light when she was struck by a vehicle travelling south on Victoria Rd on a green light. The woman suffered some scrapes to her face and was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The injuries do not appear to be serious at this time. She has been charged with “Pedestrian moving into path of vehicle when impractical for vehicle to be able to stop” Section 125 Motor Vehicle Act of N.S.
