Charges laid in David Rose homicide

A man and a woman face charges in connection with the homicide of David Rose.

On March 9 at 10:55 p.m. officers responded to the 5200 block of South Street in Halifax after Mr. Rose was found deceased inside his residence. An autopsy was conducted on March 10 by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service and his death was ruled a homicide. Last night, investigators arrested a man and a woman in connection with this homicide and they were questioned by investigators today.

This evening, investigators in the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit laid a charge of second degree murder against a 51-year-old man of Halifax.  A twenty-nine-year-old woman, also from Halifax faces charges of robbery and being an accessory after the fact to murder. Both are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court tomorrow.
